I'm confused about a lot of these recipes. The author does not explain all details in most. One recipe for cherry, has no cherry flavoring or scent, just chocolate and honey?? A lot of the recipes don't give accurate measurements either. One recipe calls for a tub of Vaseline among others, and says it will fill a few lip balm tubes? Also last time I checked Vaseline doesn't harden and the recipe did not call for beeswax or any wax...well unless the author forgot that, which doesn't surprise me. I honestly would not recommend this pamphlet. I gave it 2 stars, after changing it from a 1, because some recipes seem ok and doable. I'm sure a quick Google search will find more detailed and accurate recipes though.

Love, love, love this book!! I have always wanted to make my own lip balm so I was very excited to find this book. It may be slightly hard for me to find some of the ingredients. I did try a few of the recipes with things that are easily found. I have ordered a few items so that I can make the ones I truly want. I have been saving cute tins and things for my lip balm and I finally got to use them. I have also found tins and some supplies at craft stores. This book has great easy recipes so if you want to make your own lip balm I would recommend this book.

Not a bad book if you've never, ever attempted to make any cosmetic at home in your life. Some of the recipes sound like ones I tried as a little girl (i.e. With cool aid). I question the safety of some also.
